Your list's privacy

Each person has their own list of pending titles: nobody else can see what you've added. If multiple users add the same movie or show separately, each sees it in their own list; when someone marks it as watched, it automatically syncs across everyone's lists.

The "What shall we watch?" draw picks from the pending items of all users, so something you didn't add yourself might come up — that's the fun of shared randomness. The Dashboard also shows statistics aggregated across the whole group.
